Horse Training Clinic Presented by Rick Wheat

Rick Wheat, renowned trainer and clinician has been in the horse industry his entire life. He rode the Rodeo Circuit for many years riding bareback and saddle broncs. He was voted All around Cowboy, and Pick-Up Man of the Year for several years in a row. He then started his own rodeo company and soon was voted Producer of the Year.
Rick’s accomplished equine training techniques has placed many horses in the limelight:

- Trainer of the World's Largest Trick Horse * Guinness Book of World Records
Over the years, Rick acquired many prestigious titles:

- West Quest National Day of the Cowboy, 2006 American Cowboy Award
He has had the opportunity to train horses in many disciplines that include:
Reining horses, Ranch, Roping, Barrel-Racing Horses, Show Horses, Racehorses, Trick Horses, and Trail Horses.
Rick used his invention (THE NOAVEL HEADSTALL) for several years to train many horses with great success. He was perfecting the Noavel Headstall, and his Training Technique. In 2001, Rick was encouraged to patent is amazing invention for the rest of the Equine World to take advantage of such a useful tool for training horses.
Rick received his US Patent # 6,643,999 B1, on his Noavel Headstall and Training Technique. The Rick Wheat Noavel Headstall is the ONLY product on the market that works on a bump and release principal.
Rick travels state to state conducting training clinics and schools teaching and sharing his wonder Noavel Headstall and Training Methodology. During seminars Rick demonstrates how easy the Noavel can gain the respect of a problem horse in a matter of just a few minutes.
Rick has made his home in Northern Arkansas, at the Circle W Ranch where he and his wife Penny enjoy living. Rick and Penny have leased horses to the Girl Scouts of America summer camp in Arkansas for the past 5 years without one reported accident from an unruly horse. All the GS horses are trained using the Rick Wheat Training Method, and each horse has a Noavel Headstall.
